Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is developing a new Employment and Skills Strategy for 2025-2030.  Co-created with local businesses, local education and training providers and VCSE organisations, the five-year vision promotes inclusivity, aspiration and growth. The Strategy identifies opportunities to strengthen the employment and skills system in Rotherham and ensure that the system is fair and equitable for all.

The Strategy will provide a clear framework which will drive impactful employment and skills activities, ensuring actions are developed around shared priorities. Alongside the Strategy, an Implementation Plan detailing how actions can be embedded in Rotherham will support the delivery of the Strategy and its ambitions.
